Who else thinks voting for George Bush because he is less against gun control is a legitimate reason considering the current world situation?

Thanks

Oh I would say about 75% of the people posting here would list that as one of several reasons they are voting Bush.

Welcome to the jungle, by the way.

That at least is a reason to vote for President Bush. Perhaps you could convince us there is one real reason to vote for Kerry. I'm not talking about a vote against President Bush, I'm talking about a real reason to vote for Kerry. Make it a good one.

You mean Bush is MORE against gun-control, don't you?

I think being pro-freedom that way is a perfectly good reason to vote for Bush.

There are plenty of other "legitimate" domestic reasons to vote for Bush, not the least of which is lower taxes for many such as myself.

I also think its fairly presumptuous of you to question the legitimacy of someones vote just because said vote might not correlate with your particular interpretation of the world situation.

There are plenty of people who believe that Bush is a better choice for America's defense than Kerry, who has never failed to vote to reduce the strength of America's military, its intelligence, and disarm the American populace.

Saw a poll a day or two ago that asked if you would vote for anyone but Bush and 75% said they would. Then the same people were asked who they would vote for between Bush and Kerry and 57% said they'd vote for Bush. So even the people who are unhappy with Bush and would like to retire him, will not do so if Kerry is the only option.

Because if Kerry gets in, Hillary won't be able to run until 2012; If Bush gets in the * will run in '08 and will stand a good chance because whoever the republican candidate is won't be an encumbant either.BTW - It's the only valid reason I've heard.

I believe the question was were any of you going to vote for Bush for reasons others than gun issues. This means is the gun issue the reason or have you thoroughly research both candidates and can give a reasonably explanation how they stand on major issues.

Maybe this clearer for the others who have previously replied to the question.

I have yet to hear Kerry's stance on an issue other than to say"it's all Bush's fault" and "I have a plan". His pipe dream plans sound great if you toss out reality and he knows it. He will blame congress and the senate for not allowing his plans. He says he will take responsibility for his actions as President, but he doesn't even take responsibility for his actions as a man. He wants to have a world coalition to back him up on American foriegn policy. Do you think that any country is going to put our interests or their interest higher on the priority list? Maybe if he would have gone ahead and become a real commune living hippie in the old days he would know that it doesn't work. Instead he is a wannabe at everything he has ever laid claim to and his plans are the musings of an idealogical child.
