B-square clamp on military mounts- any good?

I want to mount a scope on a few military rifles without drilling and tapping, and I know bsquare offers such mounts. Specifically I am thinking of mounting on my MAS 36 and a German 98. After the fiasco with the SKS mount that replaced the reciever cover, I am hesitant to buy something labeled "no gunsmithing required." The MAS mount replaces the rear sight. Any experience?
