MAK-90 Preban ???

I bought a MAK-90 that has a threaded Barrel.With it having a threaded Barrel dose this mean that it is a Preban rifle? I have been told that it is.

    Does it have a pistol grip or a thumbhole stock?My understanding is that you can have the threaded barrel as long as it is a thumbhole stock model. Post/Pre-Ban would then be irrelevent.

    It has a pistol grip. Looks as if where the Bayo go's has been cut off.Imported by B-West/Tucson, AZ.

    If it has a pistol grip, then you'd better hope that it's a pre-ban!Otherwise, you've got yerself an "eel eagle" rifle.

    Now that I think of it, is there even such a thing as a pre-ban MAK-90? Weren't they make specifically to be politically correct and bypass the existing gun laws? I know that MAKs are legal in states like New Jersey where AK variants would otherwise be illegal...
