One of these days we need to hook-up!How did you do at the Topeka show yesterday? I went about 9:30 and there were people leaving already, so I figured it wasn't much ... it wasn't.All I wanted to get was some Sierra 168 HPBT Match bullets and nobody had any! Anyway I was on my way out about 10:30 and saw a guy walking around with a nice HK-93 which after a trip to the bank, I ended up with. I almost let it pass but then I remembered the immortal words of our friend dano, When in doubt, buy it! so I did ...

Hey kimberkid, I went to the show in Hutch yesterday and got to meet Randy Weaver and bought a copy of his book "The federal Siege at Ruby Ridge" couldn't buy anything else, the wife unit has a freeze on spending because she wants to go on a trip, man I hate spending my hard earned money on intangibles when you can be investing in guns. HA! By any chance are you an NRA Instructor or have you been to the big show in Tulsa? it is the mother of all shows here in the midwest...."OTO" P.S. I like your handle have 3 myself but like you that is not all I own....

jltrent, It was dano, but I have a feeling dano too has the same philosophy Otoman,You just have to convince the little woman that guns will return a higher rate of return than money in the bank ... if you research, wait, and buy right! (of course its up to you to explain why you don't sell them and get that return)dano, I appreicate your wisdom but my wife just rolls her eyes

Kimberkid, I got by cheap. Just some7.62by39 wolf. My server has been down for a couple of days. It's a pretty sophisticated company (Rural net) strung from tree to tree I think. But it's the only game around here. I think I might have bought that Winchester 67 you were talking about a while back. Was it at Cadillac pawn and gun? Nice gun. I did see a very niceM48 yugo at the gun show but I just got one last week on auction. My boy is bringing some of that old military ammo. when he comes home for Christmas. It seems I read somewhere in these forums that stuff kicks a little? w.

wundudnee,Yup That was the one! I've known Chuck for a lot of years now, he handles almost all my transfers for me.I picked up one of the Un-Issued Yugo 48, they are nice! ... and they kick like a pissed off mule if you get that surpluss Turkish stuff from JG Sales ... I got 1400 rounds delivered for about $110, I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to shooting it or not its good & clean, brass cased but corrosive primers, a few duds but maybe 1-2 out of 100.
