Well I'm now an official Blue Wonder Gun Care Products dealer. My prices even beat the big on-line sellers like Midway and Brownell's.

Just finished re-doing a 1903 Springfield, for a guy at the local VFW.

Let me tell ya, Blue Wonder, is a wonder, The gun looks as good as it did when it was made.

So for you guys that havent tried it, dont be afraid, it is darn near foolproof, No streaking of bare spots that you get with the other stuff on the market.

was cleaning my 50 bp today first time with blue wonder I use brass cleaning rods and I noticed how the blue wonder cleaned the rods don't think any other gun cleaner I have used has ever done that. My cleaning rods look like new can't see all the way down my barrel but what I could see with a light really cleaned the barrel good

Is this stuff really all its cracked up to be? How good and how fast will it clean the bore of a rifled slug barrel? For example Ive got a mossberg 835 barrel thats rifled and I havent been able to get it clean since I bought it new. I even attached my cleaning rod to my drill and went at it for an hour and I can still see stuff in the rifeling. It was packed in this grease stuff and its pretty tough. Ive had quicker results cleaning cosmo out of surplus rifles. Is blue wonder what I need?

    Thanks

    Thanks Ken,

Just received mine today, guess it takes alittle longer to get to Arizona. Am going to use it on a Colt Vest Pocket Model 1908-Hammerless, .25 ACP this evening.

After reading all the great reviews about your product am confident it will do a good job. Wil report back after using Blue Wonder.

Ken, I received mine today, also. And tried it on a piece that was a challenge. Bye-bye, rust! I AM impressed! There is one rifle / ammo combo I use which is always a PITA to clean. Can't wait to see how it does on that bore.

Thank you so very, very much. My next order from Midway will include both the cleaner and blue.

Well I'm glad the samples are making it to you guys as we had a few days delay getting them out. We are also very glad that you seem to like it. I suppose if it didn't work we wouldn't put it out and subject ourselves to the scrutiny of all the gun experts here - but nonetheless - it is feedback from guys like yourselves that help us to continue making good products.

And for a quick update - we have been testing the gun cleaner for several months and sending samples out to get feedback. For future production we have already made three changes:

    1. The tube will be of a heavier material that will resist leaks and will also completely contain the ammonia odor.

    2. The size of the hole in the tube will be smaller as the gel thins out in hot weather and can get messy. If it does thin out, just bring it back to room temperature and shake it vigorously. It will gel up in a few minutes.

    3. We will be increasing the concentration by about 5% - mainly so that it does not thin out so easily.

We are open to any other suggestions you guys might have also.

For any of you who end up having to "buy" it (Boo Hoo!?) we guarantee the results - so if does not perform, you'll get your money refunded - 100%.

Thanks for the feedback and remember - we are always avalable to assist our customers in any way we can.

I did receive my blue wonder cleaner today. There was enough left in the tube to clean 2 of my rifles. I think a truck ran over my package, the tube was split halfway around. The guns I cleaned, I had already cleaned. I did get some disscoloration on the patches. I really want to try it out on my .45 barrel. That seems to be the one that takes me the longest to clean. Thanks again for the free sample.

rameleni1 - please e-mail me right away and I will send you another tube pronto. We want to be sure you have anough to give it a good workout! We apologize for this and it has happened a couple of times before when we use Uncle Sam's postal service. It's "one" of the reasons we are changing to a heavier, thicker tube material. KG

Blue Wonder works pretty well but I have experimented several times with "surface rust" on an old guns I have. I used Blue Wonder on some parts and 0000 Steel Wool and WD-40 on sections immediately adjacent. Can't tell the difference. Tried on lightly pitted areas also. Same result. Both removed some and stopped the active rust. No damage to the finish beyond what the rust did.

Go figure. I'll stick with the 0000 wool and WD-40, its cheaper and works just as well fo my puropses.

BlueTic - We gave 25 samples away a couple of weeks ago - of the gun cleaner. We will give some gun blue samples away in the next month or so. The 1 oz kit of blue will do 2-3 long guns, depending upon darkness. 2 oz kit obviously twice as much, 4-6 long guns.

firingpin - I guess our sales would go up too? But we like to get the gun "experts" such as the guys here, to try our stuff and give us feedback - good, bad or indifferent. KG

The firearms consultant - We sell directly to dealers (gun stores and sporting goods stores, etc) who buy in case lot quantities. At present, our only "distributor", selling to dealers is Sports South out of Shreaveport, LA and we have discussions going with several other distributors also. We are agressively seeking new dealers and distributors. KG

My order for Blue Wonder came from Brownells yesterday and I immediatly tested it on OLD sears 22 rifle barrel. Today, after work, I applied gun oil to the surface that was treated and we are talking a factory looking gun blue here. This stuff is great! Buy Blue Wonder, and get the Blue Wonder Gun Cleaner while your at it, it's worth it.

The firearms consultant - I'm going to be out a day or so starting tomorrow (tests and then some neck/back surgery!? Ugh!) But I'll have our Sales Manager e-mail you all the dealer info, prices, etc. We sell direct to dealers in case lot quantities and if you want less than that you can go to Sports South in Shreveport, LA who is a distributor of ours.

Warpig883 - We have one dealer in SD so far, Sodak Sport & Bait in Aberdeen. Most dealers are listed on our website but not all. Next week we will be uploading a new database on the website and "all" dealers (stores) around the country will be listed and easy to locate. On the website check the "where to buy" section. Products are also available mail order from Midway USA, Brownells, Dixie Gun Works & thefiringpin.com

BlueTic - We have just one store in Washington State and none in Western Canada. Please send a request for info to us from our website using the "contact us" button and let us know you might want to be a dealer. Bob Price (Sales Mgr) will get back to you promptly.

Thanks for the interest guys! KG

Hey everyone! Just wanted to let everyone know that Ken came through his surgery with flying colors. He said the pain in his neck was gone. I went and looked in the mirror and I think I am still here. I guess he was talking about some other pain in the neck!

Anyway, I am certain he would like to hear from the friends he has made here in this forum. If you would like to drop him a get well note, his email address is kgibbs@novumsolutions.com. He should be back in the office Thursday or Friday, but he will see his emails when he gets home tomorrow morning.

I think you guys have learned on this forum what I have known for 20 years. Ken is a great guy!

Hello Kimberkid and thank you for your question.

The answer is a resounding no. Blue Wonder Gun Blue is manufactured by Novum Solutions, Inc. It is not private labeled for any other company. It is totally unlike any "cold blue" product on the market today. As for a comparrison of the two products, I will leave that to members of the forum who may have used both products to say.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistnace.

BPNovum - Thanks for the quick reply.

I have Brownells oxpho-blue and on most applications I have been happy with it (but not everything). I'm nearing completion of a Mauser I've re-barreled and sporterized and my test spots on it with the oxpho-blue, have not turned out satisfactory ... not getting the color or depth I'm wanting, even with several applications.

Not that I'm cheap . but is it too late to get a sample kit? . well, yeah, I am cheap >>> but it never hurts to ask!
