GB mixed up with eBay?

I wonder if there is a link on eBay that directs buyers here.Several times I have sold an item on GB, and when I get the check, it is notated, "eBay #XXXXXXX."Anyone else experience this?

    Maybe I'm off base here but when I first found GB about 15 months and a few thousand $ ago, I was surprised how much the format of GB and E-bay was alike. I had been an E-bay user for about 3 years. I knew E-bay had quit taking gun ads and figured they just set up a new auction. I guess I am wrong, but the screens and features sure looked familiar.

    I have heard people say that, but honestly, I find very little similarity between the two sites.
