Any notice NICs is operating a lot smoother than it used to?
I've been delayed on every purchase I ever had, that is, until recently. I have been approved instantly for my past two weapons. Amazing huh?!

    I do not really know the old nics check. I have been approved everytime within 5 mins.

    If you will blame gun makers for every shooting then blame car maker for every car accident.

    It is a lot better. Before when a person was delayed you had to wait for a call back. Now they switch you to an examiner that will check the person again and in most cases you will get a proceed while still on the line. If you still get a delay the applicant has probably fibbed on the form. Had that happen twice since the new system went into effect. Both times the applicant was denied and in one case they wanted to know if the person was still in the shop. Seems the applicant had an outstanding warrant out of Fla for grand theft auto.

    Nuther thang, even tho we are set up to do checks on line it is faster to call in.

    Their computer has been down 4 out of the last 5 checks, all within 4 months.

    I have a commen name And have been held up on my last 3 guns what a pain in the *** one shop would not even sell after the wait per the brady bill just like walmart needless to say i buy else where

    Yo Monkey, Gulf is still there, course ya kin't see fer the damn condos. The spent a ton 'o money on what they call "beach renourishment". They said the beach was disappearing. Beach ain't disappearing. They built where the beach is supposed to be now. Been here since '58. The beach moves in, the beach moves out. If you build while it is out you are most likely sitting where it is supposed to be when it moves in. Oh well, maybe Isadore will come clean it up.
