Should I buy...

A local gun store has two 38 Carcanos. He is really derisive of Carcanos, though I like them. One is in mint condition and is listed at $99. The other is in good condition as to finish and bore, but needs a little mechanical work in that the bolt closes only with great difficulty and I'm figuring a spring or sear or something needs replacing. He has it listed at $40, but I talked with him and he said he'd let it go for less as it has "been darkening my store for two years." I'm thinking of offering $110 or $120 for the pair, fixing the busted one, reselling, and keeping the good one. That way I should get a mint condition rifle for about $60 or less after selling off the other one.

So many guns to buy. So little money.
