First Visit To A Real Gun / Hunting Store

While checking out property in Idaho last week, I visited a Sportmans Paridise store in Boise. Well for a Southern Kalif. boy, born and raised this was a real shocker.
As big as a Costco, more hunting fishing stuff than I had ever seen in one place. Impressive.
I told my wife when we move up here we will just sign up to have my retirement check deposited here, it would just be simpler.
This should prove to be interesting.

You're lucky- stuff is rare and kind of expensive in Kansas City. There are only a couple of dealers around, and the prices are really high. It would be nice to live in a community that accepted firearms a little more. Just today I was sitting the table cleaning my USP when my mother-in-law walked in. You should have seen the look on her face. Anyway, enjoy the " availability ", if you end up moving there.

Costco and Sam's Club are nationwide case lot stores. One owned by Wally World and the other owned by K-mart I believe.

Costco was started by Sol Price in San Diego several years ago. A case lot store orginally open to business only. When it got very sucessful Price Club sold out to Costco and they have stores in all western US.

    OK, Tennessee also.
Additionally there was a K-Mart in Coeur d'Alene that carried shotguns and a few rifles.
    Imagine that.

If you were in Couer D'Alene than you missed an opportunity to go to the Sportsman's Wharehouse in Spokane, WA just over the State Line.... It's kinda like Sportsman's Paradise from the sound of things.

Are you considering relocating to the C D'A area????

If so, "Howdy Nieghbor!" I live in the Spokane, WA area- Drop me a line if you need anything in the way of information, ect, ect.

We are looking for areas that we would be interested in 600 plus acres. And Coeur d'Alene is an area we will be looking at. When we head back I will let you know, as I do like to visit those places.
    Thanks for the invite.
