Thank you for the compliment... very sweet.. but Classic isnt the lucky one.. I am... in so many ways... and by the way.. I dont think he has yet figured out who I am on here.. I dont think he knows I even joined.... *LOL*
i use "jdb123" because it is easy to remember {i use this for many other applications, though never as a password} and although it doesnt fit my personality {i mean it rymes for crying out loud} but i guess i am stuck with it. if i had thought i would post as often as i do i would have gone with a name thats more "me."
I had a 94, 96, 99, 2000, and now a 2001 Harley Dresser. For some reason I stuck with the 96 Harley as a handle. I love God,my bride of
28 years, and my guns. Just an Indiana redneck and proud of it.
In the old west the sodbusters (farmers) were looked down upon by the rich cattle barons. I guess I almost always root for the underdog.
My Great Grand-Parents raised 11 children in a small sod house about 18 miles from where I live today. I guess I feel their pioneering spirit in me. Is this the corniest reason for the name picked???
One of my "Laws to Live By" and my first choice in handgun caliber.

"IDS" is an acronym denoting the phrase "Intrusion Detection Systems". I was an IDS monitor. I basically sat behind a computer terminal on a military installation and monitored all of the security systems on post and swapped back and forth on occasion with the dispatcher. I am actually a 95B3OV5 with the Recruiter SQI that I will never tack on to the end due to the fact that I am superstitious. I will never convert to permanant recruiting duty.
Due to the fact that I was the only IDS monitor that did NOT get relieved of duty for one reason or another, I became known as the IDS MAN. 1975 is the year of my birth. Hence "idsman75". IDS monitor duty was hardly glamorous as most MP's wanted to work patrol. They asked me what my ASVAB score was when I arrived at my first duty station. As a result, they immediately assumed that I could pass tests and knew a bit about computers (yeah right) so I was the most likely candidate from my platoon to become successfully qualified with the IDS system.
I learned more during a single week at the IDS terminal listening to and assisting with dispatching duties than a single patrol learned in a month due to the fact that this brand new MP was able to observe and listen before going out and making stupid mistakes. It also gave me a chance to get some valuable lessons from the Desk Sergeant that was on duty during my shifts.
It was my old C.B. handle. For years I have been known for always going around to auctions, flea markets, yard sales, etc. I was/am always "pickenup" something. A few months ago a 4" Colt python, almost mint, in box, for $200.00. Now that was a good day. It just kinda seemed natural to carry that name over to the internet.
First time I ever signed up for an auction site I had to fill in the blank, and I thought, what works whether I'm a buyer or a seller? So I said "offeror." I offer money when I buy or an item when I sell. Nothing more imaginative than that.

I spent much of my youth wandering the woods. Drove a log truck for a little while and tailed a saw in a local mill. Still to this day would rather be in the woods than anywhere else. One day I noticed the contents page on a copy of "Back Woodsman" magazine. "America's #1 woodsrunning magazine". Thus I became WoodsRunner.
It's the nick name given to the Nile/Zambezi crocodile by the people that live along their banks. Guess the round kind sorta went missin' when the flat ones showed up.

I love to hunt almost anything. That is, that my limited budget and wife will allow. My favorite rifle is my rem model 6 in .280 win. And the last part is self explanitory.

My name is the head villian in the first "Die Hard" movie. I don't resemble him in anyway other than that we are both German, so I just use it because I use it elsewhere online. I am not afraid to admit I am absent minded, lol.

By the way, Dyer Maker, how do you pronounce your name? Is it "Dyer Maker" or is it "Dyer Maker"?
Geez I crack myself up.
Not.
