From the advent of Saving Private Ryan, WWII firearms have increased in popularity and in price. Would re-publishing Charles Clawson book on "Colt .45 Service Pistol" have a foot hold in the market place now? This book is hard to find and ultra expensive. $750.00 is a low price on that book now. What do you think?

How much did you pay and what year?
The librarian was my daughter,[:D]. Its been @ 6/7 yrs and think she paid @ $60, but definetly under a $100 and passed it on to me at her cost. I'll check and see if they're still available to the library system.

Celse is talking about the "big book".

The asking price on several locations for the larger format copies is clearly a rip-off. Taking advantage of a situation.
I got the 3rd ed. "little book" for $25.00 on e-bay - incl shipping. I checked it against a larger copy, 2nd ed. and the contents were the same except for the type size.

There isn't a second edition of the original publication.
