I have a movie type popcorn popper, except smaller.
Doe anyone know how to get the movie popcorn flavor?
I have bought all the items at Sam's that say movie popcorn, but it still is not very good.
Thanks...

And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain

Go see a movie.
Movie popcorn is poped in coconut oil with butter flavering. The closest you can come to that is to use coconut oil and real butter, cost prohibitive. Good luck.
+1 Health food store, and a little oil goes a long way!

I had the same dilemma when my wife and daughter got me a popper for Christmas 2 years ago. Been searching for that "Just Right" flavor ever since.
Here's what I do - When I get popcorn and I really like the flavor - I ask the store/theater/business establishment what kind of oil/packets/whatever they use. Never had anyone refuse to share the info. They are always very helpful.
Don't know how much it matters, but I keep my corn in the freezer. Something about the explosive effect of the kernel in boiling oil.
