I'm keeping the rest of my snipers, the K43, a Standard Modell, and some G33/40's, but the rest of the WWII/Nazi rifles I'll be selling.
An original Sauer Gew 98 is what I have my heart set on right now![:p]

    Nice lookin rifle!

    What did you use to get the numbers, etc. to stand out in white? I've thought of dusting with corn meal, baby powder, etc....

    For the white letters go to either an art store or a welding supply shop and ask for a "Paint Stik". It comes in white, black, and maybe some other colors by now.

    Rub the stick across whatever you want to highlight and then card off the excess. Wait until it dries a bit then with a soft cloth, rub off the haze and voila', letters that stand out.

    It's semi permanent but will come off with acetone or light oil if you ever want to remove it.
