I'm sitting here typeing replys to some topics, checkin my email, ect. And one of my two ferrets just backed up to the corner next to me and took a dump. So I stopped and cleaned it up. Then got back on my computer and started typing again, and I feel something fuzzy climb about half way up my pants leg... I think someone wants some attention.

Anyone else have any pets.

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

One cat that is all cat and one cat that thinks it's a dog. Rolls over to get his belly scratched, follows me all over the house, and carries his favorite toys around in his mouth. Would like to have a dog...a big dog...a DAWG even, but don't have the room where I presently live.

One Burmese cat. She is a shoulder not a lap cat. If you don't pay
her any attention she will jump onto your shoulder, not climb but
    JUMP.

Oh yea, I almost forgot, I have a miniature siberian black hampster who lives in my closet, really, his cage is in my closet. He has plenty of food, and has a nice wheel, and I try to get him as much light as I can in the day, but its the only way to keep my ferrets from opening his cage and killing him.

We have a five year old beagle(Peggy), which belongs to my wife and will never see the woods. A three year old English Bull Terrier(Bandit). He is a block of cement on four legs and not much gray matter upstairs. Finally a seven year old cat(Squeaky) and she rules the roost. The dogs don't bother with her or she would shred them as she is one tough cat.

We have one yellow lab, Punky, who is due with a litter the end of this month. She is my baby. She is always with me, lays outside the door if I close a door, sleeps next to my side of the bed......I think she loves me!

We also have one gray kitty, Katie, not sure what kind she is but she looks like the cat from Pet Cemetary! She is 100% cat, does her own thing! When we got her, she had all claws gone but she still scares the dog! 70lb dog -v- 6lb cat, dog runs!

We also have some fishies and a frog.

We have three actual resident cats, that is cats that we got on purpose:

    Gizmo, my son's ex-tom cat.

Honey, my niece's fat lady cat.

Patches, tiny female cat rescued by wife from abandoned barn.

Then there is a young tom cat that just sort of wandered up and adopted us. He stays outside because he still has all his issued equipment. We call him Tweetie because he talks a lot in a high-pitched voice.

One hedgehog named Pete. Cute but not a terribly interesting
    pet, being nocturnal.

I released 8 Mediterranean geckos around the house trying to get them to establish here. Wife thinks they are creepy.

Wife won't let any of us have snakes, so any snakes live outside.

Doesn't the Declaration of Independence say that all men are entitled to Life, Liberty and a Dog??!! My copy does. The editor is sleeping at my feet. Too big to be a lap dog, although he'd like to be. Firmly convinced he's a people with floppy ears and a lot of hair. Great hunting genes, but would rather chase rocks than dead ducks. Literally swims right by them looking for the splash of a rock. I think he's schitzo . . . because he's so damn smart in other respects. Weimeraner; most loving dog I've ever seen . . . too bad the feeling isn't reciprocated.

I have three, and my wife only likes one of them. A cat, an albino rat, and a boa constrictor. The cat is about 13 years old. The rat i've had for almost three years. And my boa I got as a birthday present from my sister several years ago. My wife keeps telling me she wants one of those " I Know An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly " kind of things to happen.

Three dogs--Arkansas Hybrids. The oldest lived at the house before we did. She is extremely territorial to include chasing contrails and barking at them if she seems them over the house. Kills moles, but leaves the rabbits in the backyard alone, guess she figures they've always lived here too. We have almost two acres cleared and have no worries of stepping in any dog do. She never has left anything in the yard and has trained the other two hybrids to do the same thing--somewhere in the woods. She has absolute fits if a crow or helicopter nears her air space and ate a snakeskin she found in the yard the other day. Weird dog, but very protective.
