Yes, even the venerable M1 Garand had a toy made of it in the 60s when many of us men were boys, and one could be had for the princely sum of $1.77, with bayonet:

Those interested in the eBay auction may find it at:

It's up to $52 already, and no, I have no interest in the sale!

I remember when roll caps were the big hit. I sure do miss those days.

I must have bought my son the last really cool toy gun ever made, circa 1989. It was an Uzi, the magazine held 6 D cells, it was select fire, would make a single bang when the trigger pulled in semi-auto mode or one could switch to full full Rock & Roll, it had a red diode in the muzzle that would flash in time with the sound effects and an oil reservoir which would release a small wisp of vapor with each shot. Plus at any distance at all, it looked like the real thing. It was the only thing like it in toy stores I've seen since I was a kid - good quality, realistic, definitely not PC. My ex did not approve and 'somehow' the magazine 'got lost' while he was out with her. B**CH!! Had a beautiful SAA cap gun when I was young that was equally realistic and well built. I wore it out. And if I'd had the real thing & put as many rounds through it as I did caps on the toy, that would have been shot out, also! I guess kids today are supposed to play with Barney Nerf dolls and get in touch with their feelings?
