Hey Mercury, I'm also in Tucson and I love the heat. It allows me to go shooting whenever I want. You got the whole range to yourself when you go shooting at 1pm when it is about 100 degrees outside. I love it!

But it would be nice for some rain to come and put that fire out.

pretty darn dry here on the eastern shore of MD. I went fishing saturday and could see the bottom perfectly in 5.5ft of water. Anyone who knows anything about the chesapeake bay in June knows that you won't see that many times in your life. With our normal rainfall, you might see 2ft down.

It just keeps on raining here in Michigan. Been raining on and off for about a week or two now. My grass is growing about 1" per day!

Sorry to hear about the problems the drought is causing for you guys out West. Hopefully, you'll get some rain like we've been having really soon...

It don't rain much here in 29 Palms. It's a good thing though. If it rains to much it washes the sub-grade from under my airfield causing much work.

Rain, we really need it in AZ it is so dry they are not going to have fireworks on the 4th in some of the northern towns. It is really bad on the game also, I really wish it would rain once a day for like months.

We been getting the rain inWisconsin too. It rains so much the grass is growing but you can't cut it! It also keeps the weeds going full force.

I wish I could send to you folks that need and want it......I am sick of it!! I want sunshine!!!!!!!!!!!!! People tend to get depressed and cranky without the sun.

My 4th day into vacation was baptised this morning. My dog and I left for a 4 mile walk. Thunder in the backround made it a mile walk. We got soaked at 11:30 AM and it's still coming down. At least it slowed me down long enough to get some inside vacation stuff done.

Went out yesterday to look at some of the ponds I fish with my son. It wasn't raining when we left, but by the time we got to the first one we made it an afternoon of muddin'. Forgot all about looking at the ponds and just had a good time instead.

We've had more rain in NH since the snow melted than the water content of the snow. Need still more to recover from our first official drought of many decades. Still, I'd share w/ you, cowdoc, you're one of the people that puts food on my table (and thanks!).
