I apologize for accusing you of having a PhD. I was under the impression that you did earn one but I guess my memory ain't so hot anymore.

I requested a round from my brother-in-law, who has a .375. Haven't heard back yet.

The only other person I know who might have one is SaxonPig, who posts on the General Discussion board.

I would give him one, but doesn't shipping live ammo require UPS hazardous shipping at about $7 minimum? That would make an expensive round even as a gift.

He wants it for a collection. An inert round would probably do. Ask him.

Inert rounds are easy if you handload. Just leave the spent primer in place, or put in a good primer you killed with a drop of oil.

With a loaded round, you can carefully drill a small hole in the case and shake out the powder. Then you can kill the primer with a drop of oil.

Once the cartridge is no longer ammuntion, it can be sent by the US mail for about a buck.

I do not reload, and all of my brass goes to a friend who does, but I will check with the fellow to see if I can help.

Gee, David, can't you think of anyone who posts here who collects ammo instead of firearms? Give ya a clue . . . no, never mind, let's make it a challenge.
