They last few NEW guns I have bought has had some kind of oil or grease in it. Whats the deal with that?

    1. Find the instruction manual.

    2. Read the instruction manual.

    3. Read it again.

    4. Take the gun down as far as the manual recommends and CLEAN it.
    Especially the bore.

    5. Lightly oil the friction points and reassemble.

And all this time I thought you weren't supposed to read the manual till after you messed something up!

David, *real* men only read instruction manuals when the large hammer doesn't work!
