Sold a Hakim and a SKS (both 98%+ condition) to my dad cause he had gotten the itch for military rifles. Really miss that Hakim, it was immaculate. If my old man doesn't stop eating all that junk food I'll be getting the rifle back sooner than expected[xx(]

The only one I truly regret is my Fox Sterlingworth. The serial number was well before the 25,000 cut off. The wood and metal was flawless. I gave it to a buddy of mine to use for antique shotgun only bird hunts. I couldn't hit anything with it and I didn't much care for the 30 inch barrels ... too heavy, but it was pretty and worth a good bit.

Twenty years ago I had a Hi Standard derringer in .22 mag. I sold that gun for some reason, don't remember why, I knew it was the best derringer I had ever seen.
A few years later I went to the gun store to buy another. I was told, This company is out of business. To quote Roberto de Vincenzo*, "What a stupid I am" I said to myself.
I hounded the used gun market for a few years, and I got another Hi Standard, just like the first. What a beauty! I will not let this one go.

*Three gold stars to anyone who can ID Roberto de Vincenzo.

    Almost all of 'em! [:D]

Seriously, I had to sell a lot of great shooters, a lot of great collectables, etc when I hurt my back and over the years. I got up to 72 guns, now I have 13... [V]

A few that I can think of that I want back -
    Bren Ten 10mm
Remington 700 VSSF in .220 Swift
Desert Eagle .44 mag and .50 AE
Benelli M3 with pistol grip (but always wanted a folder)
    Marlin 444
    Remington 552 BDL
custom .458 mag based on BRNO action
Daisy VL Presentation w/5000 rounds of ammo

A few that I DO NOT want back:
    Mossberg bolt 16 gauge
    AR-7 (ANY OF THEM!)
I had a cheap 9mm pistol that I keep forgetting who made it...

Once had a Hi Standard Sport King with Birdseye Maple grips. Was a great looking and great shooting gun. I was young and stupid and it got away. Now days I consider carefully before prying my fingers off one.[:I]

Then I think I remember your H.S. pistol, I just put two and two together... I remembered a listing that had your username as the seller. It must've been it - it was like 750-850 range right? I had a buddy that was over looking for nice target pistols like that.
In fact, it's still in my favorites under his name, is this it: http://www.***********.com/guns/976425319.htm

Small world, here ya live in a town I frequent and I looked at your listing without knowing it was you. [8D]

    No.

But there are some, that I'd want to replace in the same model, but different caliber.

For instance,I sold a Steyr Mannlicher in .308Win.
I'd want to replace that in .223Rem or .243Win. either in regular Scout or Scout Tactical.

Don't do anything that I've allready done - That'd be just plain STOOOOOOPID.

Sure, at least once a year! Sometimes it's because I took a bath on the price, other times because what I traded for an't no better than what I had. Mostly, I miss the guns I traded in my youth[:(!][:(!][:(]

I had a set of 6 Colt .45 auto commeratives of WWI and WWII battles, all with the same serial #'s and all still in their original factory shipping cartons. I sold the set in the mid 80's for $3500 and I would really like to have them back. There have been others, but those I regret the most.

Nope the only ones I have ever sold were a smith and wesson 629 had to get rid of that gun I know they are great revolvers but man was that an uncomforatable gun to shoot for me. And a t/c scout muzzle stuffer needed to upgrade and I am happy with only one muzzleloader darkening a corner in my safe.
