I emailed them because I wasn't getting American Rifleman and was wondering if I should still get it on a yearly membership. A while back, I posted the question here and the responses where that I should keep getting the magazine. Here's their response and my original message. Seems like they never did really answer the question!__________________________________________Dear Anthony, Thank you for contacting us. We have your magazine choice listed as American Rifleman, I will extend your membership for 6 months. Thank you very much for your support and please feel free to contact us if you ever need anything else! Best Regards, Rebecca NRA Member Communications P.S. If you need to contact us again concerning this, please make sure you include this and any previous correspondence. Some Internet Providers, such as AOL for example, automatically cut out previous messages when you reply to a message. This will help insure a quick answer to your inquiry. Thanks again!__________________________________________I just received my yearly renewal notice ($35 - 1 year) but I no longer get American Rifleman. Except for 1 issue that arrived just recently. Otherwise, I have not received any issues in roughly a year. With the yearly membership, should I be getting a magazine subscription every year? Thanks. Anthony

You should get a mag. once a month.I would call them- give them your mem.# and make sure it is noted. Or mail them the info. and keep a copy. Good Luck.

I Rejoined the NRA 12/28/01 with a Life time membership. Didn't hear anything after three weeks, so I E-Mailed them and they told me it was going to take a while for it to process. Still nothing as of today. If they move that slow in Washington D.C. then It's no wonder we are losing are Rights.

Not so strange, When I didnt get my membership package for 9 months, they finally agreed to send another, the 3rd they say, and extend my yearly membership by 6 months. Its their standard answer for poor membership relations/service. My answer to them, I'm no longer a member, but we covered this on another thread....Long live the North American Hunting Club!!!

I moved to Iowa last june and gave the NRA my new address immediately. I received the magazine and then it stopped in November. I called at the end of December and both of the missing month's magazines were in my mailbox within 48 hours. Last week I realized that I had not yet received my January issue so I called and they mailed it to me with my February issue. It was once again in my mailbox within 48 hours. I hate having to call all the time. I didn't join just to get the magazine but I do look forward to it every month.

I've been a Life member for decades, but think I'll start complaining twice a year if they promise I'll get a six month extension like Ruger did.
