Have spoken w/ my buddy on your want list. Here's some starter info:In Barstow, there are several scrap / salvage yards. You will have to do some rooting around, but you should be able to find 105mm & 8" projos all day long, whether for guns, howitzers (or naval cannon on last one). Barstow Truck Works is one of the best. Do *not* take a distaff companion; for some reason the yard operators freak about having women in their operations, while they will let men roam freely. Strange.Another source in So.CA: James Madison 1034 Belson St., Torrance 90502Unless you know something he doesn't know, you will never find a casing for the Long Tom; it was, as far as he knows, always a bag charge weapon. You might well find a 5" casing in CA, but if you don't mind paying freight, they usually are easily obtainable from:Barnacle Wharf Trading Co. (aka B&W Trading Co.), POB 692, Newark, OH 43055, (614) 344-2772or: Jim / Troy Lawyer RR 1, Bx 272, Bedford, IN 47421 (812) 279-2954Good hunting!Iconoclast

Brian, my buddy is purely pre-electronic. Doesn't even have an answering machine on his phone line. I will send you his name / address via eml. He's one hell of a nice guy and quite knowledgeable.
