The people and I say "people" of the United States have the right to keep and bear arms, not pea shooters or bb guns, but real guns in order to protect themselves against a government of tyranists is protected by the 2nd amendment- that is the cause and that is the reason for the 2nd.
The government has seen it fit to reduce our weapons (as you will) to an inventory of useless defense against an arsonal of weapons that they alone do posess! Soon- the government will order us all to abandon our "hunting/sport shooting/self defence weapons in order to proceed peace!
I will not, and cannot, accept these terms. We will be as the helpless as you have seen in the Nazi times. At the hands of those in power- we will perish and freedom will be no more!!
"The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed". Our forefathers saw what happened to a people when it was helpless and swore (swore) for all of us that this would never happen again. "by their lifes and liberty's- they died for this cause!!!!
It is time to fight- and do it legally- vote. If that doesn't work- I am willing to die for that which our forefathers has sent to us!!!!!

    I agree the government is slowly taking away our rights. I believe I will see the day it is illegal for a citizen to own a firearm. I may be wrong and I hope I am, but it is not looking good for us. Just look at the difference in gun ownership today compared to 40 years ago. The government usually gets what they want. It might take them a little while and cost a lot of money but they are using tax payers dollars so no big deal with them.

    Definitely ,Buy land ,buy solar pannels have your own water ,have your own energy have guns to stop an army and dont have your eggs in the same basket ,dont trust anyone ,do your own machine shop stuff
    have your own greenhouse... do your own taxt exemt cooperatives and community organizations and send goverment and taxes to hell.

    It's sad but most citizens here don't object to anything as long as the leaders WE elect keep them fat happy and intertained. It's people that stand for a cause and can't be belittled for taking such a stand for justice and morality that make the difference. I'm tired of giving. Someday there may be some take. We're all volitile. All it's going to take is a little kicker. Just what that will be, I guess we'll have to wait and see. Our liberties are being picked away and that can be seen by some of the post one here today. More security measures. ARM EVERY LAW ABIDING CITIZEN WITH A AK-47, BAR, OR M-16.
    The government should pass them out. Their ours anyway. BINGO! No more terrorist. Zap em on the spot.

    We have an election in August. It's traditionally a very low turn out for these elections. But we vote for the congressmen and state reps. that can make all the difference in the world about what direction our society takes. Will you get out and vote? Will you get your spouce, shooting buddies, friends out? The liberals are already making comments on the news that this election is a referendum on how poorly Bush is handling the economy. Wouldn't it be a hoot if conservatives and pro-gun candidates kicked some liberal booty!!!!

    Car sickness is the feeling you get when you send in the monthly payment.
