Noxema works to remove the sting. I got sun burn really bad on a Colorado reservoir. Ended up with blistering of the skin.

Every medical professional that I have ever spoken to says nothing but cold for the first 24 hours. Creams, aloe vera, etc, will keep the heat in and make it worse.

If you're not exaggerating that much burn can be life threatening. I hope she has medical attention.

2 weekends ago I did in my arms. Riding my harley and did not have a long sleeve shirt. Normally keep one in the saddle bag. Too hot for a jacket. Wind burn plus sun burn. Arms just started peeling.

Have tattoo's on both arms, so use Lubriderm to keep them from fading. Helps a lot with the burn also.

PS also went out and got some 45 SPF sun Screen. Put it in the saddlebags also.
