"beer belly" isn't because of beer, it's for beer. why do you have a dolly behind your recliner on the first pic? is it the way your kids move you around after you pass out? [:D]

Gosh, some people take stuff too seriously!

I was just jokeing with her and she knew it and actually laughed about it.

I also tend to use flavorfull language around my kids just out of habit (as a 3rd generation truck driver and my time in the Army it is just that, habit!)

But I will assure you that niether of my kids talk bad or would flip anyone off.

    cheap, watered down canned piss
    topless
    man-dals
recliner in the front yard, on a dolly no less for easy relocation
obscene(admittedly mild, but still obscene) gestures to your daughter

yep, that sure is the life.....

COuldn't have said it better myself! But hey, according to this:
quote:I also tend to use flavorfull language around my kids just out of habit (as a 3rd generation truck driver and my time in the Army it is just that, habit!)

...he has several more admirable qualities to pass on to his kids.

And "flavorfull" language isn't a habit you can't break. Just takes a little self-control and will-power. Hmm...

There is another way to look at it (and it also happens to be how I feel):

Kids are going to see and hear this type of stuff anyway! My kids are learning from me that there are places were this type of stuff is just not right (I do not just go around useing bad language and such just anywhere).

I raise my kids in a pretty laid back enviorment. They also get alot of freedoms that other kids do not get because I feel that they have earned them because thier actions have proven to me that they do know how to behave as they should. And those who have met my kids (on this forum Select Fire is one of them) know that my kids are some of the most well behaved kids that you will ever meet. So I feel that although my way of raiseing my kids may not be the way that many would choose it happens to work.

Your ae raising your kids to the best of your ability and that is to be commended. If someone dont like that is their problem. We as parents are not perfect and dont need anyone reminding us of that. As long as your children become upstanding citzens then i would say to you sir "job well done".

Well, alrighty now; thanks for the education in "Child Rearing - 2008" and setting some of us older parents straight!

Kevin, it's commendable that your children are well behaved; I'll curtail any further comments.

You could use some time at the gym and some cardio vascular exercise.

I only drink 2 or 3 nights a week and then I usualy only have about 4 or 5 beers spread out over several hours.

That gut is from all the good southern cooking that I do.[;)]

Got to hand it to him. No inhabitions, pretentions, or trying to present something he isn't. I think Azex is right! Maybe if more of us were forthright and simply being what we are instead of trying to present an image of something greater things would be alot simpler in life. God bless his beer gut and all of us with the same affliction.

Yea and you showed how simple your mind is by supporting the gun grabbing NRA without researching what they are truely doing against us gun owners!
