well it has been months now that a felon tried to buy a gun from me and then got lippy when i didnt sell it to him and wanted to call the law.

well i did call the law, court was yesterday he has been locked up for 4 months and got 4 more to go now.still dont have my gun back but the paper work is supose to me in the works.

on another topic the ones that say a 22lr is not enough gun.

the cop that has my sk was first on the scen and was telling me about this while we were at court the other day,

just the othere day here (florida)an off duty alabama cop was atacked by 3 guys at a bar, one had a knife, cop had an AA 22 , er doctor said that was the worst gun shot wond he has ever seen, (gut shot)said the bad guy will be crapping in a bag the rest of his life

still wonder how an off duty ala cop can have a gun in the bar . he was black and the others were white, news said it was a race thing

A 22 is not enough gun. Trust me, my buddy wa shot by one from a rifle and it was pulled out easily.

NO cartridge that cannot penetrate at least 12 inches of ballistics gelatin will put people down reliably. Thats not me, thats an FBI standard as a result of a study. What you are quoting from a doctor is a exception to the rule instead of the rule.

Most people in the combat handgun community will tell you that the 380 ACP is about the BARE minimum.

Carrying in a bar is ok here in Indiana. For anybody.

Carrying in an establishment that earns the majority of it's income through alcohol sales, is illegal for everyone, here in Louisiana. Except ON DUTY responding to a call.

If you are concealed carrying, the blood alcohol limit is .05%. Don't even gargle with Listerine.

A .22 will penetrate plenty far enough to create a mortal wound. The problem is that it does not have the initial shock trauma. It may take the victim moments to realize he's even been shot. That's enough time to do damage to you.

I carry a .22 sometimes, it's better than a sharp stick. I know, if I ever have to use it, that I will empty the thing into the BG, reload, and repeat. 17 rounds ought to do the trick.

I much prefer to carry my .38. I just bought it, new to me, because I realize the limitations of a .22. I wanted something larger, and I wanted a revolver instead of a semi-auto.

I have heard a 22 long rifle in the chest is one of the most deadly wounds seen in a ER, bullet has the energy to get in, but not enough to get out, so it bounces around the chest cavity playing heck with the lungs, veins etc.
