    I stopped in a new gun shop, and one of the guys there was telling me just that....said it was against the law.....

    I had an argument with Rite Aids, I wanted to buy 1 condom and they said it's against the law to sell just 1. I told them I have single shot, what am I going to do with 6 of them.

    There's a bow shop/gun shop near me that sells ammo one at a time, but it's oddball stuff.

    He had a box of 9mm shotgun shells he was selling one at a time, and some other old big rimfire stuff.

    We did it in the store.....no worries. I think when it comes to things with warnings on the package you cannot part them out, like food or such??? I don't know what the legalities over this mess.

    Used to watch the Indians (Native Canadians?) come in to the hardware store in Wiarton Ont and buy three rounds of ammo, only to return a day or two later and try to sell one or two back to the store.

    Something I learned from an Ojibwa:

    One shot, deer.
    Two shots, maybe deer.
    Three shots, no deer.

    Yes you can sell ammo by the piece, look at the antique ammo that sells on the other side.

    When I was a kid I bought them by the each. Shotgun shells were 10? each and .22 was 1? each.

    I don't know of a law being passed about it since then, but I don't know. But back then a ten year old could buy ammunition. I don't think that's legal now.

    I expect everybody stopped doing it because it's more trouble than it's worth. Seems like everybody stopped selling singles about the same time they came out with the five packs of shotgun shells.
