I went to the Joplin one and it was HORRIBLE, thats all i have to say about that!

    I went, both days, it was packed the first day, the second day was less so. Not a big show, the ones at the Coluseum are much better in my book. They are outside of Wichita city limits and don't require the 7 day waiting period for handgun sales or the call to be approved by the city. The City of Wichita will deny your request to buy a handgun for a past due water bill or expired dog tags. The shows in the county are MUCH bigger, MUCH better, and a person can actually BUY something.

    boeboe- You do not need to wait for & days to buy a pistol, pick up, if you are outside the city limits of wichita?And no i did not go to the gun show over the weekend. I pulled a double shift on friday night and saturday night, and i am back here again tonight.songdog

    WittumWhere was the Joplin show, good ole Jack Lawton Webb or at Hammonds? If it was a crazy horse and custer I'm sure it sucked, that's been a dead show for the last 2 or 3 yrs.

    anubis,It was at hammons. I sat in the parking lot for an hour because there was nothing to buy inside. ok, yeah ther was nothing to by outside either, but i thought i would catch somebody wanting to sell something.

    songdog,I know hundreds of residents of Wichita who go to the Coluseum Gunshows and buy from dealers and via private sales with no waiting period every year.
