Hi Folks,
I can't seem to find the info on pre-ban AK 47s that was on here a few months ago, I guess it scrolled off.
Can anyone refresh my memory on what parts you can add?
Is this:

A real "pre-ban" or is it a recent model with folding stock and stuff added?
Thanks for the help! I've been thinking of picking up an ak-47 but I want that folding stock. (Not practical, but looks cool....hehe)

NO! You may not have my guns! Now go crawl back into your hole!

Because it was already an assault weapon before the ban, it cannot be turned into an assault weapon. It can't be turned into an assault weapon because it already IS one. You can re-configure an existing legal assault weapon with any combination of the 5 evil features.

If it's a MAK-90 that's been cobbled, the receiver would still say MAK-90. It would be pretty hard to cover that up. With his feedback I'd say the seller probably knows his stuff enough to know it's a legitimate pre-ban firearm. I'd say it's not so expensive because it's had the European folding stock added to it and not in it's original Chinese configuration, which might hurt the collector's value some. It probably came with the fixed shoulder stock originally, but adding the folding stock (to a legitimate pre-ban assault weapon) wouldn't make it illegal. The collector would prefer to have a firearm as it came from the factory. Also note the condition is only described as "good". That would indicate it's not much of a collector's piece, but might be a fine shooter.
