Not sure of the value but since you cleaned it you cut it in half from what it was. All coins should be left alone and not cleaned.

I hate to tell you, but *_r_done is right. I cleaned a coin one time and the dealer I sold it to told me I changed it from priceless to valueless. Here is a link to what they are selling for on eBay.

Might as well drill a hole in it and use it as a charm on a necklace. Cleaning it just shot the hell out of the value.

Worthless is a bid of an exaggeration. By cleaning it, you knocked off some of the value, but it's not worthless. Just guessing, but I expect you can probably get a dollar for it, maybe more.

Just let it tarnish again (and it will) and don't worry too much!

Indian penny? It looks like the staue of Liberty to me[:p]Dont you mean Native American Penny?? I remember when i was a kid i would occasionally come across Buffalo nickles, but the indian pennies where long gone by then.

twentyfive to fourty cents. Swallow it so the "natural patina" will set back in, filter your droppings, and it will be worth seventyfive cents to one dollar.

Technically, it is Lady Liberty in a native American headdress.

My daughter, at the time less than one year old, swallowed a dime. The wife took her to the doctor, who advised we needed to monitor her emmissions. I was the lucky guy, yes, I sifted through crap for a dime. It did turn an iteresting black in color.

    Stupid doctors.
