My wife got a Mason jar with a mix for cookies in it for Christmas from a student of hers. She made them last night and they are excellant. The only problem is that there was no recipe and that the person that gave them to her bought them from someplace else. They were an oatmeal cookie with real chocolate chips and also peanut butter chips. I will have to enjoy them while they last which will be until tomorrow.

Well, today is a milestone for me. I am 60 years old. I came to Florida to spend it with my family and have some good times. Went to a USPSA match last Sunday and didn't get through the first stage. I stepped in a hole while moving from one position to another and went a@@hole over applecarts. Took two big guys to carry me off the range. Ended up breaking a bone in one leg and pulling a ham string in the other. Getting old sucks. Guess I will be spending a little more time in Florida than I thought. Anyway, Happy Birthday to me. Bshooter

I've been wanting a Savage m99 for some time
now.As some of you may remember, the one I
had on layaway turned out to be stolen.I got
    my money back,no problem,but it wasn't much.
Now,I see(in one of the area newspaper classified
    section),a m99E in "excellent" condition,300 Savage,
    4x Weaver,for $250.I hate to even call.I'm afraid
    he'll still have it.[:(][:(][:(]

This story is how my luck has been lately. I have a shooting range between a corn field and a wheat field. The wheat is almost golden color and the corn is about waist high. I placed some paper targets in the bunker at the end of the range. Loaded up the .22 and laid it on the sand bag on the bench. Set up the spotting scope next to the bench and was sitting down when I looked out about 50 yards and could not believe my eyes. A coyote walked from the wheat field to the corn field (about 20 feet) and I could not get my gun fast enough to get a shot. It only took about a second and a half to travel that distance. It didn't even know I was there. Just my luck. Bshooter
