I'm trying to back up my Planet Earth DVDS for my niece and nephew but I'm having problems. I have DVD shrink,DVD videosoft for the de-crypt and Nero 6 ultra to burn but I'm getting no where. Anyone use these maybe help me out? Thanks

DVD shrink is what I use. Put the DVD in, open DVD Shrink, click open DVD, after it runs through the dvd click back up dvd. It'll run through the entire DVD again then it'll spit it out and ask for a blank DVD. Pop it in and it should burn. That's how mine works.

The ultimate result of shielding men from the effects of folly, is to fill the world with fools.

Uninstall all those you mentioned and go to slysoft.com
Download anydvd and dvdclone and install. These are programs you have to pay for but they have a free 30 day trial. Much more user friendly and they auto notify when there is an update for a new release.
Just put the disk in and open dvd clone. Don't do anything with anydvd it will run in the background and do what it does on it's own.

I like the free ones and those mentioned where very easy to use and besides I would not use it enough to justify the 150.00 they want for it.
