    you could use it as a door ornament so people can use it for knocking on your door, then after it's been exposed to the elemnts for a while it will get that dull dark salty "look" with a nice patina, no need to polish [8D]

    who uses door knockers any longer>? they have doorbells now and besides, anyone knocking on my door uninvited is a target, unless its ups or usps.[:p]
