WEST TOLEDO -- They tried to steal from her, but she wasn't having any of it. Around midnight, an elderly woman was pulling into her west Toledo home on Eastway. When she pulled into her garage two men armed with guns approached the car and demanded money. She sat there and simply refused to give them anything. Police tell us that one gunman then shot out the car windshield. The women continued to sit in her car and not give into their demands. The two gunmen then took off running, empty handed. If you have any information that could help lead to the assailants please call the police.
