Miami-AP -- A mystery involving O.J. Simpson's ex-girlfriend Christie Prody (PROH'-dee.)Miami police have found a dead cat inside Prody's apartment -- but no sign of her. Police also say the apartment appears to have been ransacked.A neighbor reported a foul odor and told police she hadn't seen Prody at her apartment in about a month.Simpson was questioned over the weekend. His lawyer says Simpson called Prody while police were meeting with him and said she was O-K.Attorney Yale Galanter says the couple broke up last summer and that Simpson hadn't seen her since.Simpson was acquitted of murdering his ex-wife and her friend in 1995, but was later found liable for their deaths in a civil lawsuit. Last year, he was acquitted of burglary and battery charges stemming from an altercation with another motorist.
