That is one beautiful piece of hardware, anyone know if our military has anything that good? I know they have sniping .50cals. Those optics are nice, and I would think the latest tech optics would have night capability. Does the US Army have it?God I hope so!

When i look at that weapon, lust and greed comes upon me.I would believe that some special units of our military have equivalent weapons but their use probably would be limited to hush-hush covert ops. If i remember correctly, the geneva convention banned use of the .50 cal against individual enemy soldier as with the flame thrower. The only time I think you can use a .50 on the enemy soldier is when he is carrying equipment. I may be wrong on this tho.

The military does have such a weapon, if you get the chance sometime, watch suicide missions on the history channel, they did an entire episode on snipers, and they were shown practicing at 2500 yds, with a Barrett .50 BMG 10 shot bolt action...we've came along way since Whitefeather, God rest his soul!
