Here is a Good Riddle, I Cant figure it out!

There are 2 villages, called the Truth-tellers Village and the Liars Village. The Truth-tellers ONLY tell the truth, and the Liars ONLY lie. A man is walking down a path and comes to a fork in the road. One of the roads leads to the Truth-tellers Village, and the other to the Liars Village, but he does not know which path leads to which village. There is a person standing at the fork in the road, and the man does not know if this person is a Truth-teller or a Liar. However, he needs to find out which path leads to each village. There is one thing he can say to the man at the fork in the road to find out which village is which.

What is that question/statement?? Remember...he has no way of knowing if the man will be a Liar or a Truth-teller.

The logician points to one of the roads and says to the native, "If I were to ask if this road leads to the village, would you say 'Yes'?" The native is forced to give the right answer, even if he is a liar! If the road does lead to the village, the liar would say,"No" to the direct question; but as the question is put, he lies and says he would reply, "Yes." Thus the logician can be certain that the road does lead to the village, whether the respondent is a truth-teller or a liar. On the other hand, if the road actually does not go to the village, the liar is forced in the same way to say "No"

Tell me which village is which or I will blow your head off.

Just ask simply "which road goes to your village?" If he's a liar he'll point to the truth-tellers fork and if he's a truth-teller he'll point to the truth-tellers fork. Regardless of which village he belongs to he'll direct you to the truth-tellers fork.

    Which way to your village?

    Doesn't matter, truth-teller or liar.

Liar.......he lies and points you in the right direction.

    Truth-teller........DUH!!

It's too easy. The liar must be able to lie or tell the truth (in which case they would be lying in saying they always lie).
