Voting..........................................?

How many of you feel that voting actually makes a difference?
Seems the politicians change their minds on issues that prompted your vote, soon after being elected. And they could care less!
I know, without the vote, we would be in a mess, but the elected should be acountable for their promotions.

    I'm an AMERICAN !

I always Vote. Even if the Politician I voted for flip-flops, I know I voted for the issues he stood for at the Time.

    YES, Voting Matters.

I voted in the primaries and was rather disappointed with the results. I was really hoping that the Republican candidate for senator that got my vote would win in the primaries. He did surprisingly well. He has my vote next time around as well.

I vote even in the "OFF" years. I don't know if it helps, I would like to think it does, but if you don't vote, you don't have any right to complain.

If I knew then, what I know now.

Think of it from this stand point, every time you do not vote it is a vote for the other side.

I've always felt that if you don't bother to vote, you have no right to complain.

Voting is a responsibility I take very seriously. It's not merely a right. I have missed one chance to vote in my life and I've felt guilty about it ever since, even though it was simply a local matter of no great consequence. If we are to have a sustainable republic, the citizens must vote; if we do not participate in the process, we abdicate our responsibilities . . . even if the choice is between lousy and bad.

The feelings already expressed by RugerNiner, pickenup & k.stanonik describe perfectly why I vote in every election and as stated by Iconoclast quote:Voting is a responsibility

Our last Presidential Election demonstrated clearly how every vote DOES count.

I can't tell you how many democraps I have heard over the past couple of years say they will not vote again because of what happened to Gore. For god sakes, vote each and every chance you get and lets get some of these useless liberals/ demo's, etc. out of office.

i vote and all, but don't really think it makes any difference what so ever. it's just a safety valve of the system, to keep us all from going apes**t and starting a revolution or something.

Voting is a right that has been bought and paid for by the blood of Americans in wars from the American Revolution to both World Wars. Voting is a right as well as a priviledge that should be exercised ESPECIALLY among gun owners everywhere in America. If EVERY gunowner voted in every general and primary election in his or her state and voted for pro gun candidates, I am sure we wouldn't be fighting for our second ammendment rights as ferverently as we do now.

Not only is voting a responsibility but a genuine necessity in this day and age!
