TULSA Gun Show - 19&20 Oct.

Heads up folks! The greatest Gun Show on Earth is October 19th and 20th at the Tulsa state fair grounds known as the Wanenmacher Tulsa Arms show. Our table is 16-D-2 on the upper level, North end of row 16 East side of the island. We will have a three sided sign with each side about 3' square 14'+ up in the air and Jalapeno Peanuts on the table. Put it on your calendars and if you can squeeze it in, you ought to go at least once. Stop by eat some peanuts and say Hi.

    5db, I may try to make April again, but to give up one third + of my duck season, I'd have to have a money-back guarantee I'd find 500 pounds of very rare ammo for 5% of retail! Hope you have a good show.

    He Dog, If my gray matter is recalling right, you planned on the 2002 April show then things changed and you couldn't make it. May I suggest getting a chisel, 2# hammer and a stone....

    Iconoclast, all I got is 425# ;) so I guess I'll see you in April. (I might even find that magazine for you and your Bride by then!)

    Nothing wrong with your gray matter 5db, we did indeed have a conflict for the April show. As it turned out though, with the money I had saved for the show, I found a Franchi Aristocrat Silver King in 12 Ga. LNIB! It is about to go to Briley for screw in chokes, so missing the show wasn't a total loss. I do want to see the Tulsa show once so am planning (once again) on April.

    Regarding that, I have a little plot I will e-mail you about.

    Thanks for the encouragement He Dog, my wife claims I've lost it. Maybe there is something to the selective memory theory, Gun related -save, All other, delete.

    April is a fine show, the Jalapeno Peanuts are a bit small then, but they'll do..... Yes, I'd say you did fine staying home. I've dealt with Bobby at Brileys, he is in their rifle department, seem like a good outfit to do business with.

    I freely admit it: Motel 6 is GREAT! Cheap price, decent rooms, etc. I stay there any time I travel, practically. :)

    Yes, I already have a car reserved. Going to the show on Saturday and Sunday, and to the Davis Firearm Museum on Monday. Flying out Tuesday.

    If anyone is flying in, I'll gladly split the car rental with you. Would be great to reduce some of the cost.
