We are back from the mtn's and back to work. What all did I miss the last couple of weeks? Here's a couple of pics of our trip and stay in the cabin.

You missed an interesting thread about about 9mm vs .45 acp, oh and a religious thread, but for some reason that one got poofed. Let's see what else? A newbie asked how many guns everyone owned, and one about Remote Girl too I seem to remember. I almost forgot the best one, a member posted a picture of his supper then asked everyone else what they were having.

In other words, safe to say you didn't miss much. [;)] [:D]

thanks for the updates, I thought that the world had ended when we couldn't get wireless at the cabin and I couldn't get my worldly updates from GB.[;)] It was way to quiet with out all the childish bickering and poofing.[:D]

You missed a real heated debate about magnesium, a safe and lighting.

Gary,.......didn't miss much but the usual.

Built a chalet up in those parts years ago.
I could hear the train from Dollywood on certain nights.

    Nice pics!

Is it safe to ask how the debate ended?

    Hi Mark,
Our cabin is right up the ridge from dollwood. The glass blower is a friend of ours. We got free tickets to get into dollywood so why not go if its free. We saw 5 bear and over 75 deer the last night up there in Cades Cove. I love that area.

Probably not. I am sure that they would not want me to tell my story about how I was moving my safe on a flatbed truck, inside was my gun collection and 5 lbs of magnesiu, bars, and it was struck by lightening. Nobody believes the photos. So...it is best left alone.

Gary,......yes Cades Cove is very nice.
Believe it or not I never went to Dollywood when I had the place up there.

My property was off of a gravel road called Seaton Springs Rd.
Used to be a historic old farmhouse down below me that was turned into a B&B, but I can find no info on it now.

This place seems to be very close to where my 15 acres were.

This is the cabin we stay in. It has a indoor pool in the basement and a hot tub on the balcony .
