Well here is her thumb, notice how the tendon is not attached in the middle, that can't help any. She was not happy with me posting this picture. [8D]

    I'm no doctor but I don't think its supposed to do that. On the other hand, she could e an expert hitch hiker.

    Triple check with doctors. Braces serve only temp solutions. My dau has CP and maybe surg 20 to 25 times to correct problems braces would not solve.

    Braces are little more than pry bars. Something other areas are also receiving pressure when braces are used.

    Sadly to a point you are correct. But those with EDS have a choice, braces or most times a failed surgery. The braces may put off the attempt to fix this for many years. I hope by then they will have a method that works better for her. I know of people with EDS that have had 15-20 surgeries on the same knee joint, yet still need the braces to walk.
