I can't wait, here in NY it starts 1 May.
We can hunt from sun-up till noon, and can only take two bearded birds a season, and both can not be taken on the same day.
It is my favorite hunting season of the year...[:)]
But, first the snow around here has to melt!...[:(]
This a 23 lb bird I took in my back pasture a few seasons back.
Called him in from another pasture about 700 yards away. He flew down off the roost and came running to the gun.
