Summer outing in Fla. Anybody interested?

I live in Central Fla. about 1 hour north of Orlando and have thought about having a picnic for all that live in fla. or who want to come to it from other states. My house and land is in a rual setting and I have a shooting range in my back yard (150 yard). Is anybody interested in having a summer get-to-gather? If not here than anyplace would be fine as long as we can shoot and have a good time for the whole family. I have 5 acres for camping also. Lets get something going.

    That sounds like a good Idea, I,m game, Could only bring Hand guns because We would come on the Harley,

    Dont know if ya can put up with an old Geezer like me, but it would be fun, Getting tired of Range fees here.

    I live in Hudson Florida , just a couple hours away from where you described.

    The wife and I would love to go except that She's due July 24. I don't think She'd go for a camping trip this summer .

    How close is the nearest hotel? That'd be an option if it's not too close to the due date.

    Sounds like a good plan. I need to go to Appolo Beach, outside Tampa probably in early July. That's only about 2 1/2 hours from you. Keep us posted.

    I'm happy to see some interest in getting togather and having some good family fun. As for hotels, there is some very good, low cost motels and hotels near by in Leesburg fla. and a very good pro- camp ground about 1 mile away. I have room for some very large motorhomes or camp trailors on my land but no hook-ups. I will be on Vacation for the next 2 weeks in Tenn. so when I get back I will start making plans and if anybody wants to come, if they put there e-mail address on here I will contact you and see what we can work out for a date and times and such. If anybody has any ideas for a date or anything else please speak up and lets all get togather and have a good time. Gary My wifes e-mail is s1ssybeal@aol.com

    Gary, Appreciate your open invitation for a "get together".

    We live in Brevard county about an hour east of Orlando.

    When you set a date. Please let us know and what ever we can bring in the way of food, and drinks.

    BTW how far is your home from the Webster flea market? It has beeen about 25 or so years since I last had a chance to go there.

    Also, I have a good sized box of old rifle and pistol cartridges that may be of use to some of the guys. No charge, just pick through and take what you want. These are rounds that are left over from a large purchase of ammunition.

    My wife's mom lives in Deland....not to far from you...We might consider such an escopade, but I don't know if you'd want a tribe of littl'uns runing around....

    keep lots of extra uppers for your ar..you can change often enough to keep the thing from over heating...what ever caliber fits the moment..~Secret Select Society of Suave Stylish Smoking Jackets~

    Home from vacation in Tenn. and I will start working on the fla. picnic. We are about 5 miles from the Webster flea market for those that asked. Pistols and rifles are welcome to the GB family picnic.
