    Brownie, I measured and I think a sling around 34 inches will work for me with regular end for sling swivels like on a winchester. I plan on using it on my .356 winchester Big Bore 94. Let me know when you have it ready and I will make plans to come up and get it. No hurry at all as I'm tied up for the next 3 weekends. Gary
