Well today has been fun, plans were to turn over garden area once more before planting. My lil dog and myself got to barn an tire was flat on old Ford tractor.Got floor jack and cranked up compressor and got tire off ok but i just cant throw then in truck like years ago so another air jack that lifts frot or rear of car was used to raise tire and flip it in truck.Got to town and 35 $ later tire repaired and i was off headed to home, wife calls and she has flat on her truck.I got there and she had truck jacked up old tire off but couldent get new tire out of rack its on under truck. After i got tire off from truck and on ,back to town for another tire fix.I,m 87 and feel it today now so garden will wait till tomorrow. And crew who replaced my barn roof from storms other night will get a bill for tires. Thanks,Paul

I had a flat last week on the toolhauler. Was right by Wal-mart so I just drove it on in. Thay put on a new tire for free. That warrenty sure paid for its self.
Poor guys had to chang the tire in the parking lot. It was over 100 degrees. Thay said that thay were not alowed to move it with a flat.

Unfortunantly I was not afforded that luxury, I had too leave the car due too lack of a spare(my fault). And come back and get the tire this afternoon, and get it fixed. Oh well.

How come you just didn't take it off and turn it over? It was only flat on one side.

We went camping last week-end. While the camper was parked one of the tires went flat. The tire was loosing the cap.Out of desperation I tried a can of that Fix A Flat. Knowing full will it wouldn't work. It blew up the tire and we traveled 100 miles home. I could not beleave that. I was sure it was just another hoax to see what people would buy.

Tazmutt-- My shifts rotate I work 12 hr shifts so its always 7-7 whether its dayshift or nights....Next week is my last week of graveyards. Then I go too days for ten weeks.. 5weeks of weekends on, then 5 weeks of weekends off, then back too nights.. I definitly like nights a whole lot better though. Its a lot cooler at 2:00am the at 2:00 in the afternoon.

Jastr - Never donr the swing-shift thingy, don't think I could do that switching around all the time. I've been a 3rd shifter for the better part of 23 years here (maybe ending soon - axes are falling all around me ... lay-offs).
