Anyone out there close to Jamestown, New York? I was going to be there for three days next week. Wondering if we might meet for coffee or such.

Schenectady County. So about 2 hrs.

Gordian Blade lives in Albany County. Maybe he's game.

Hate to clue you Capitol District guys in, but Jamestown is located in far western New York... About 300 miles as the road curves.

For myself, located in Horseheads, NY. About 180 miles and too far for coffee.

    Sorry!

That is just too weird for me, I just came back today from Warren PA, which is where I grew up! Is that where you are from?

I'm too far north in the little burg of Hamlin, NY. If you should find yourself in the Rochester area, lunch is on me. That's the one good fringe benifits of having a restaraunt in the family.

If you get a chance, run up to mayville and take a dip in lake Chautauqua. I just love that area. You might find something interesting to do at the Chautauqua Inst. If you have any family with you, go to Midway amusement park. That's like stepping back about 30 years, a nice family place.

    Boe Boe,
What are you doing up there? Are you from Jamestown? My neck of the woods is just across the border in PA.

I do quality assurance audits for defense contractors. It means a lot of travel. But it has it's rewards. Hey, though, you might remember I'm a married man!

I just thought it was cool that you had got there just as I had left. I grew up there but I live in Norfolk VA now. I'm married too with 3 little boys, which I was picking up from my parents house.

I'm in Chautauqua county right now for a few weeks. Jamestown is a long drive from where I live most of the time in Albany County, but a short drive from where I am now.

I just re-checked the dates. I was out west for a week helping a sick relative when you first posted. Too bad, I probably missed you. Drop me an email to bedrosian@wsg.net .

Well, thanks for the info, perhaps next time I'm east in that area. I'm home now.

But I'm looking for someone in City of Industry, CA to have coffee with next week! I know, I wouldn't go to Kalifornia either, except it's part of my job...
