I am also a Ruger person.I gave you part of an answer to your question.I also don't beleave Ruger ever made a 22 Mag.10/22 until recently.I have seen some homegrown ones,but no real factory ones.How is the rifle marked you saw? As i stated inyour other post,the stock was made by the Overton company.

Thanks Niner - Been there. Everybody seems to agree that as far as general knowledge goes, Ruger never made a 10/22 in WRM back yonder and that the best bet is to get ahold of Ruger. I got the numbers, am going to call tomorrow. Will let evryone know what I found out.
