I'm Going To Front Sight

I'm heading out to Front Sight (www.frontsight.com) for the 4 Day Practical Rifle course at the beginning of December. I'm going to the Las Vegas school. Has anybody been to this class? Can you fill me in on what to expect? The instructor on the phone said that most students bring AR-15's, but I was about to buy an M1A for use as my main rifle. Argh. I'm not even sure what I'm asking. I'm just at an impass. Blah.

I went to one of their courses about a year and a half ago. Their instructors are awesome. I can't wait to go again.

Evil one, if memory serves me right, you will be shooting a LOT during those 4 days. While I agree with your choice of an M1A over the AR, you might want to consider the accumulated recoil. I would go with the M1A but bring a recoil shield like PAST or equivalent. Have fun!!!
