I hope this doesnt come back to haunt me, but I decided not to buy a new gun, and buy goodies for my Glock 22, do yall have any suggestions on what to get for it?

Get a plug to keep dirt out of the ridiculous sinus in the back of the grip.Night sights are a nice touch, and on a Glock, I need an extended magazine release. That is about it.

Is there such thing as a longer barrel to improve an accuracy for my Glock?

Nunn.....Mrs. Mudge has a Glock 30 with that "sinus" in the grip. Are there plugs made specifically for that?Mudge

Ya, just type in "Glock 30" on "GB" and youll find them. They only cost a few bucks.[This message has been edited by Gene B. (edited 11-19-2001).]

I always thought those spaces were there so you could use a couple fingers and rip out a magazine that just won't drop. Does the plug stop you from doing this?

I think you should get about $100 for it and quit trying to make a silk purse from a sows ear ... buy a real gun! (stir, stir, stir)

Hey Kimberkid,I bet my Subcompact Glock 29 10mm with fixed trijicons could out shoot your kimber. Especially in the rapid fire accuracy test.My HK compact 45 could probably out do it also.

Diablo ... Read: stir, stir, stir... I was just giving Gene B. a hard time! Dont take it so personally!Since I re-barreled & compensated my GLOCK 21 I really like it, it seems to be more accurate and has less twist ... and now it shoots lead reloads too! So you see, I'm just as guilty of add-ons as anyone!By the way, Kimbers aren't the only auto-loaders I have, its just a handle!

Kimberkid, how much did your barrel cost? Do they make one for a Glock 22, and is the barrel longer?

Gene,I got it through FAC (Federal Arms Corp.) For the 22, they have stock length, extended-ported and extended-threaded, they also have the .357 sig conversion barrels for the G22 in stock length, extended-ported and extended-threaded also ... all are $89.95, the profile matching 2 port comp is $39.95, in my opinion (for what ever thats worth) is the way to go. Their phone # is (763)780-8780

Gene,I have heard somewhere they are putting one together but I haven't seen it, or an address for it yet. While your spending money on it, keep in mind, reguardless of how much you spend, it wont be worth much more than a standard modle unless you find someone that wants it just the way you have it ... for instance, a buddy of mine sent his to Aero-Tech for some work and spent about $800 tricking it out, when he wanted something new, all he could get out of it was $550 even though he had about $1300 in the gun & modifications ... people thought it was cool, but it was still just a used Glock in their eyes! Average used Glock goes for $350-$400 unless you have hi-cap mags to go with it ... and even then your better off selling the mags seperate ... that's the point I was trying to make in my first comment. Edit: Can you imagine paying $2300 for any Glock??? Look here: Item #2480855 http://www.gunbroker.com/auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=2480855 ... sorry, not that cool!

Has anyone tried those barrels for the Glock that have the rubber o-ring at the end? They are supposed to have better accuracy, by up to %50. I saw them advertised in Gun List, but haven't heard anything else about them.

For a ported barrel, a slit slide and a handful of aftermarket goodies they want $2K+ for that? Thats like selling a Geo Metro with a small block 5.0 302ci on it, still cant get more $ for it than a regular Geo (sorry about the metaphor, SOCAL habit). Sometimes its amazing how far people would go....-Smooth
