Ok, users of the Rock River one piece scope mounts: What looks best to you, mount tightening screws on left hand side, rings forward, or mount tightening screws on right hand side, rings to the back? All views from gun held in shooting position. Thanks.

I mounted mine slanting forward to allow more eye relief

I had a set on order for about a month from RRA before I canceled it (picked up a LaRue mount from GB auction side).

It took them a full week to reply to my request to cancel the order- so if you are going the RRA route, be patient!

The whole idea of this mount is to move the scope forward so why would you mount it the opposite way. And what difference does it make witch ever side the screws are on. Or in other words what ever trips your trigger.

I've seen both versions on various rifles and was curious as to what method was most popular.
