Very wierd funky unexpainable dreams?

I can't believe I'm going to share this, it has been buggin me all day. I had a doozy last night night and I have no cottin pickin idea why I dreamt this. Now I aint tellin all of it because it is just to friggin wierd but I remember hearing a song by DEVO,"Whip It" thru the entire dream, and my pickup truck was being held hostage by, ready? Get this,,,A whole bunch of women dressed in green Devo outfits! Their faces was even green! It got even funkier but that is all I'm tellin, and no it was not XXX because my wife was in it also. No I was not smoking dope or drinking booze but man that was too much, I'm afraid to go to sleep now.

So how 'bout it folks, y'all have any wierd ones?

    I had really weird dreams when I was pregnant......are you not telling us something!!! haha

    I'm reminded of the story how Joseph interpeted the dreams of the Pharoah concerning 7 years of famine....so here goes...

    "Whip It"...

    This is in reference to not being appreciated by your boss, this could be what he has intended for you or what you'd like to do to him...

    I told my wife all about that this morning, she was laughing when she wen to work, was laughing when I went to see her for lunch, was laughing when she got home, and the %!%$@%#^ is still laughing at me, and she is asleep!!

    Ms. Beast, there are some things about that dream I left out,,,,,that is all I'm not telling. Other than that I have no secrets, I just have no explanation for that dream..
    Man they was green!! And that damned song has been in my head all DAY!!!

    I had a dream once that a woman I was dating was sleeping with her ex-husband. I called her the next day and told her about it. She admitted that she had been letting him "sleep over" all week because he was moving and needed a place to stay for 10 days. Riiiight.

    It used to be tornadoes. * ones that'd suck up my whole house or something.

    Now I dream of combat. Usually I end up catching a round in the heart or guts or something. But I always die with an empty magazine and a sneer on my face that'd make Patton proud.

    Chinese food, Mexican food or peanut butter and jelley sandwiches before I go to bed and I have some crazy dreams as well. Once dreamed I was trapped in a giant pool of red jello with only my head sticking out. I like jello, but not that much. I dont think it had any significance. The wife woke me up as I was trying to swin out of it. She still laughs about it and so do I. Seems that if your awakened out of a dream you remember them better. The ones I dont like are the ones where you wake up in a cold sweat.

    When Clinton left office they gave him a 21 gun salute. Its a damn shame they all missed....

    What's worse is when you get recurring dreams. About every year or two I get the same dream I've had since I was a kid. I am walking through a jungle and a gigantic bird appears (looks like a tucan) and opens his giant beak and screams like its trying to eat me. I wake up every time right at that point.

    I have no idea why I always get that dream. It scares me every time though!

    Dreams are weird, it would be interesting to know what the mean.

    p.s. Don't eat jalapenos before going to sleep, they always give me active dreams.

    The wildest was when I broke my leg 2 years ago and was on good doses of Demerol for about 2 weeks. Kept dreaming I was playing 1 on 1 basketball with Shania Twain, she was wearing a workout outfit from one of her videos, on the roof of a big houseboat. Oh yeah, she always kicked my butt in the games.

    Anyone want to interpret that one?

    yes, I said FUNKY! I still have flashbacks from when my parents was doing that 70's thing! I'm sure the folks my age and older can vouch for this, the younger people can THANK GOD they didnt have to live thru the 70s!

    The interpretation of meaning in dreams has pretty much gone out of fashion. From neurology work, it appears that dreams are the brains way of running systems checks, and frankly, if you think about them they are all fairly weird. You are suddenly in another place in the dream people change into other people etc. There is no research support for "paranormal" or psychic ability in anyone, but we have all had dreams or hunchs that came true. You often pick up small clues from expressions or social situations that your subconcious processes until you reach a conclusion that seems a might leap. Mostly we are way more perceptive than we give ourselves credit for.

    Next time, avoid those jalapenos before bed!

    I wish I had dreams like that ecspecially about Brittany spears in my boring married life even green devo girls sound great!! The only dream I have any more is one where someone is stealing my money, then I wake up,and put my pants on. Thats when I notice my wallet is missing and my wifes gone shopping, talk about a nightmare......

    This dream is a result of the recent problems your having with your motorcycle. Motorcycles represent freedom. Freedom from the boring mundane choirs of everyday life. The green women represent yardwork. The song whip it playing represents your fear of being tied down to your home doing nothing more than mowing your lawn. I suggest the only cure from this nightmare would be to head down to your local dealer and buy yourself a new ride.

    Davcon, that sounds like a very good assumption and cure, mat have to do that! problem is I got my credit cards maxed out for the car I'm working on and I can't really afford the payment or a new ride.

    Here is one for ya, how many times have you ever had you better half wake you up from a good sleep and you start talking some really stupid stuff? Or have you ever caught your spouse talking some stupid stuff while asleep?

    My re-occuring dream is ,,the bad guys are coming,,none of the ammo I have fits my gun,,the mags don't fit my gun,,my gun falls apart,,I've made sure this doesn't happen in real life,,

    I wasnt old enough to drive in the 70s, all I remember from then was that hell I was put thru called DISCO!!!

    No, I wasnt on I81, infact I havent been on any interstates in the last couple weeks, the only truck driving I've been doing lately is running a friends truck for him to deliver loads so he can sit at home for an extra day or two. Last time I went anywhere I took a load over to NYC for him, the only way he would accept the load from his dispatcher was if I would deliver it for him. LOL, what are friends for huh??

    I don't believe in all of the touchy-feely "dream" mumbo jumbo that is embraced by the Art Bell crowd (bless Art Bell's soul) but I have an interesting tidbit to throw out.

    There was a time in my life where I was financially unstable. I had nothing in the bank and was working full-time at a meat-packing plant just to make ends meet (barely). I was always having dreams of my teeth falling out. A year ago I dated a girl that was into all of the touchy-feely dream interpretation crap. I picked up one of her books and read that such dreams about teeth falling out come as the result of being financially insecure. I thought it was an interesting coincidence. Art Bell might think that it's more than just a coincidence but it's fun to tinker with the idea.

    I have strange dreams all the time. I have deja vu regularly, where I'll be in some situation that I realize that I dreamed about anywhere from 1 week to several years ago. In the dreams, some horrible thing usually happens that never happens when the situation occurs in reality. A new-age type in Santa Fe once told me it is because I "actually live about 3 or 4 steps outside of [my] body, [my] spirit is always racing ahead". Of course, this is the same wacko that told me I was having back problems because the Lizard People were sucking energy out of my spine while I slept. The deja vu thing is pretty strange, though.

    and now I can't get that damned Devo song outta my head . . .

    I have a very strange recurring dream about every 2-3 yrs. My brother pushes me off the Statue of Liberty and the next thing I know I'm falling through the sky (I always get that sinking feeling too), but I always land in the backseat of a Mustang with people I have never seen before. It's always with the same people though. I have absolutly no idea what that is supposed to mean.
